Clouds
I smoke but never inside when I'm at home. So I go to the balcony and what do I see: the most beautiful clouds in the sky over Helsinki, my hometown in Finland. I'm thrilled and I'm moved so I take pictures.
However, I would never take these pictures with the kind of camera I use for my other work. It would be too stressful and too slow. When I would finally get my camera out and everything right the sun would be gone with all the colours or the wind would have destroyed the fantastic cloud formations and I wouldn't have gotten the picture.
Thank goodness I have a camera in my mobile phone. That's the camera I've taken these pictures with. It's as fast and as light as the clouds in the sky but, anyway, a camera that crops whatever I want from whatever I want. After a while the clouds are gone but I'm left with the picture of something very beautiful that I know will never ever be the same again.
